The Company AVILA
ARCHITECTS started out in November 1991 when they were commisioned
by the Associated Broadcasting Company of Makati, Metro Manila to
design their TV-Studio at the 12th floor LUDO Luym Bldg. Centerpoint
Hotel in Cebu City. Thus in February 1992, Channel 21 TV network started
their first test telecast in Metro Cebu.
AVILA ARCHITECTS
started office operations in February 1992 by renting an office at
the H. France Bldg. in Mandaue City. A year later in March 1993 they
moved to a bigger office at the 2nd floor of Century Plaza Complex,
a better location with sufficient parking space for easier access
to its clients.
At the helm of
AVILA ARCHITECTS is Architect Benjamin "Bing" Avila, who has had ten
(10) years experience in Construction Management under DCCD Engineering
Corporation, one of the largest consulting firms in the country. Among
his notable projects assigned to him in Metro Manila were the Palacio
del Gobernador in Intramuros (1978). Filinvest Centre Building, Makati
(1978), Nielson Tower Restaurant, Makati (1980) and Country Space
Office Condominium, Makati (1982).
